Nani Blow

Nani Blow

The tabloid press reports this morning that there are concerns about our Portuguese winger, Nani.

Seemingly, Nani has picked up an ankle injury that has resulted in it being so swollen that any scan carried out is inconclusive in deciding the extent of the injury.

Reports suggest the injury was picked up in a challenge with Laurent Koscielny in the 2-1 win against Arsenal last weekend.

In typical tabloid fashion, there is an element of scare-mongering with it being suggested the damage may keep him out of action for two months.

Away from the scare-mongering, the clubs medical contingent are hoping that when a scan can successfully be carried out, the injury is nothing more than a strain!

Let`s wait and see shall we before we panic!
