Not Bound for Brighton!

Earlier this week the inference was there that Michael Owen was wanted by the Championship side, Brighton and Hove Albion.

The inference being that a fit-again Owen could propel the south-coast side to the Championship play-offs.

Well it appear that it was all the figment of a wishful journalists mind with Gus Poyet, the Brighton manager, commenting about the rumour,

"It would be a dream for this club to have Michael Owen but it`s not true."

So that`s that one put to bed then!
