South Coast Finale!

South Coast Finale!

Although currently sidelined through injury, there is January transfer window interest in Michael Owen.

One tabloid carries the inference that Brighton and Hove Albion, managed by Gus Poyet, are looking to lure the thirty-two year old to the south-cast.

The inference being, that Brighton are under the impression that a fit-again Owen could be just the man to propel the club towards a Championship play-off place.

The article goes on to suggest that United would probably let the player go for a nominal fee but there is one large spanner in the works.

Previously, Owen has implied that he`d not be one of those players who, when he`s past his prime will be prepared to slip down the leagues to continue playing.

Could the challenge of helping Brighton back into the Premier League override that factor?
