Crumbling City

As Tottenham falter and the other London pair, Arsenal and Chelsea look poor imitations of their former selves, it`s looking like City and United are the prime movers in the title race.

Naturally there will be more than the fair share of twists and turns before the title is decided in May but Chris Smalling believes that City`s bid will crumble, remarking,

"We saw some of the City game coming to Arsenal, and you`re obviously going to know about the result beforehand."

"We knew they had scored in the dying minutes but we can`t keep relying on them to drop points and we needed to make sure that we did our job."

"Soon enough, if we keep ticking these wins then they`ll crumble."

We`d like to think so!

Continuing, Chris goes on to talk about the importance of that 2-1 win over Arsenal, on Sunday, further adding,

"It was a massive win for us. Even at 1-1, we all knew that we really needed to win this game because of what happened earlier, and I think we showed real character."

"To be honest, we were expecting City to win at home."

"We just needed to make sure we won our game and not let that gap increase any more."

With the FA Cup taking centre stage this weekend, the Premier League is, temporarily, placed on the back-burner but the season is certainly warming up!

Dont think they are crumbling, but they will have a few slip ups before the end of the season, just like we will.....
niteworlok
they could go out of the carling cup tonight lol
nickster
and they did - but for Joe Hart would have been a lot more - just like us they aren't unbeatable - just very hard to beat

Looks like Ninni could miss most of the run in. Don't worry, I'm sure Giggs and Scholes can start every game for you.
