Doomed to Fail?
By my reckoning the rumour linking United with a move for a Brazilian striker could fail on one crucial point, the price.
Several sources are inferring that United have joined the race to sign the Brazilian striker, Leandro Damiao.
The 22 year old has attracted interest from the Premier League before with Spurs reportedly submitting an offer of £15 million for the player last summer.
With is club wanting a cool £24 million now, you can see why I`m suggesting that the price may well end any United interest in the player.
After all, it`s a huge sum to pay for somebody who has yet to prove themselves on the most competitive of stages.
