Yet another rumour has pitched up in the morning press relating to the acquisition of a defender.
In what is quite rightly termed the 'crazy season` whereby clubs are linked willy-nilly with the purchase of players, one tabloid would have us believe that United are keen to on bring 17 year old Javi Manquillo to Old Trafford.
Currently on the books of Atletico Madrid the lad is highly rated but the rumour, for some strange reason, isn`t accompanied by any mention of a price or any of the other tittle-tattle associated with a possible purchase.
