Two Reds Extend Stay

Manchester United have announced that Mikael Silvestre and Ji-sung Park have extended their playing contracts with the Club.

Silvestre is now contracted until 2009 and Ji Sung until 2010.

Sir Alex Ferguson told the official site: "Mikael has been an important member of the squad for seven years now. His experience at the Club will help the younger players as they develop and he has a central role to play in the first team.' Adding 'Ji-sung has had an impressive first year and I`m pleased to have secured him to the end of the decade at least. He has adapted well to the Premiership. His awareness and ability are first class."

Silvestre has always been a good servant of the club, would like to see more from Park though.
