A City Swoop?

A City Swoop?

Over the weekend there was all sorts of gossip relating to United losing players this summer.

The gossip, mainly, resulted form the fact that some contracts are coming to an end and the associated players were not interested in accepting the terms offered.

The usual names were being bandied about - Ravel Morrison and Paul Pogba with Danny Welbeck`s (for some reason) also being thrown into the mix.

But, ignoring the ludicrous suggestion that Welbeck, a life-long United fan, may be off, the futures of Morrison and Pogba continue to generate column inches.

The latest inference being that Chelsea are eyeing up one or t`other but that our noisy-neighbours might well be preparing to plunder our production line and land both!

Now losing them both would be bad enough but to lose both to them, it doesn`t bear thinking about!

I shouldn't worry about it all that much - if they can't get into your midfield (for whatever footballing or non-footballing reasons) then they certainly won't get into ours. Chavel is just pure unadulterated trouble anyway, so as talented as he might be, good riddance to him, he'll probably end up in jail sooner rather than later.
