Basel Midfielder Tracked!
Going out of the Champions League, at such an early stage, still hurts.
But it could have some sort of unlikely compensation.
Our last Champions League group stage fixture saw us lose to Basel, ultimately costing us a place in the knockout stages, but it appears that Sir Alex Ferguson was hugely impressed by the 19 year old midfielder - Granit Xhaka, with Sir Alex, if the tabloid press are right, looking to sign the player.
The same tabloid goes onto infer that, at the moment, it looks to be a straight battle between ourselves and the Italian giants, Juventus.
We`ll report further if anything develops with regards to this rumour!
