'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another Bitch

Something else worth having a moan about, while I`m in the mood, is the fact that the tabloid press are always harping on about our failure to replace Gary Neville.

Although Gary was, on his day, one of the best and most under-rated defenders of his generation, it, to me, remains a slight on the playing abilities of the likes of Rafael, Fabio, Smalling and Jones, all of whom have done a more than respectable job at right-back.

Nevertheless, this apparent failure to replace Gary has reared its ugly head again in the transfer gossip this morning, with one tabloid declaring that United are now looking to sign the young Crystal Palace right-back, Nathanial Clyne, as a replacement for Gary.

See what I mean!

From the title of this article I thought you were about to sign the next Nani!

Unfortunately until Rafael or Fabio live up to their potential and remain injury free we're going to get this a lot Red Boy. The media don't quite understand they're the future of the fullback positions at our club and have the potential to be the best RB and LB in the world. Smalling and Jones have done admirable jobs but they'll be our CB's and to be honest I wouldn't mind Clyne as he bolsters a position we struggle with injuries and also is a natural fullback.

Rafa and Fabs are fantastic attacking wing backs, even Valencia, when moved into the back four looks quite comfortable - he just needs to learn how to tackle a bit better lol

The twins do have fantastic abilities, and skills, and once Evra goes, will rule the back four along with Smalling and Jones (If Vidic is absent for any reason like injury) and be one of the best defences in the EPL
