History Counts for Nothing Now!

History Counts for Nothing Now!

As we enter the second half of the season, Sir Alex Ferguson has a message to all those who are willing United to overhaul Manchester City and claim a 20th title.

He`s stressed that although he values our history, now is the time to knuckle down and show the world what we can do when he comments,

"I frequently stress the importance of our history and experience, but you cannot depend on past achievements to win trophies."

"It`s important we get our fingers out and perform in every game."

"Nice though the FA Cup is, we`re now back to the nitty-gritty of the Premier League."

"No excuses now, we`ve got some of our injured players back and others are not far from returning. It will make a difference as we strive to put City under the kind of pressure in the league that we put them under in the FA Cup."

Bring it on!

United are never stronger than in the second half of the season when it really matters!
