Bundesliga Rumour Gathers Momentum

Bundesliga Rumour Gathers Momentum

Those Berbatov rumours continue to circulate!

Today I`ve awoken to read that, according to Sky Sports, Dimitar is to have talks about a return to Bayer Leverkusen whilst two other clubs of note, Bayern Munich and Anzhi Makhachkala, are also monitoring the situation.

As I`ve said before, don`t be surprised if Sir Alex let`s the Bulgarian go this January providing the fee is right!

Money talks, but I thought he was doing good, so why so eager to get rid of him?

How much of a hit do you think you'll have to take on his £30.5m fee?

I wonder whats happened, not too long ago the club said it was going to attempt to negotiate a new one year contract. Feel slightly sorry for Berby, realistically he was more of a luxury buy and we never really needed him he was just there to add a touch of quality to a squad which at the time didn't need no more. He was also there to bring back memories of Cantona for Fergie. His style of play really doesn't suit our system and he has struggled because of it, if only he had adapted i'm sure we'd be speaking of him in the same breath as Bergkamp and Cantona. His heroics last season up top on his own won't be forgotten, best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

You might be better off keeping him if rumours that Welbeck has refused to sign a new contract are true. I know you've got 8 strikers on the books at the moment and all, but you never know...

His contract doesn't expire until the end of next season, nothing to worry about I don't think, the lads United through and through.
