Ba to United?

Ba to United?

United seem to be well represented when it comes to striking options.

Sir Alex Ferguson has a quartet of Rooney, Hernandez, Berbatov and Welbeck to select from as well as Owen, when he`s fit.

Now whilst we suspect that the boss is always on the look-out to improve upon what he already has, we were a little surprised to see that we`d been linked with a possible move for the exciting Newcastle striker - Demba Ba

Since joining Newcastle, from West Ham, Ba has set the Premier League alight with a succession of quality goals and leads the scoring charts.

Currently away on African Cup of Nations duty with Senegal, Ba has wasted no time in clearing up the situation laying the blame squarely at the feet of an agent, Armand Doom, who we hasten to add doesn`t represent him, for starting the rumours with Ba commenting to the media,

"Really, I don`t know how desperate this Doorn can be to talk like he`s my agent."

"He`s nothing for me and should stop lying and show respect."

A shame really because this lad looks to be the genuine article when it comes to power, physique and natural scoring ability!
