Berbatov in Bavarian Link

Berbatov in Bavarian Link

Although Sir Alex Ferguson recently intimated that Manchester United will be exercising the option in his current contract to add a further year on, rumours about a possible Berbatov departure continue to thrive.

The latest doing the rounds is that the Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, are set to test United`s resolve to hang onto the Bulgarian with a determined bid to lure him to the Bavarian capital.

As we said earlier about the contract option being exercised, you`d expect the situation to be clear but something tells me this link with Bayern Munich could rumble on and on.

He has shown lately that he is a class act, and Im sure he has at least 2 good years, and with Chica and Wellbeck maturing we need a classy forward to ease the burden.

Always fail to understand why taggart doesn't appear to trust Berbatov - he's not exactly a terrible player, is he?
