FA Cup Tie Warning?

Am I reading this right?

According to numerous column inches that have appeared in the tabloid press in recent days, the FA bosses are set to write to both United and Liverpool, ahead of the forthcoming FA Cup 4th round clash, to ask for calm as the two sides meet for the first time since the racial incident marred the Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Now excuse me for sounding belligerent, but why should we be asked to do such a thing? It wasn`t one of our players that committed the heinous offence and it wasn`t one of our fans that reduced an Oldham player to tears in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

So perhaps the FA should be addressing this problem at its source rather than besmirching us all!

After all thats gone lately and bad blood that has existed for decades. there is the potential for trouble any measures to defuse the situtation on both sides should be taken seriously .
