Rooney to City?

Although Wayne Rooney did his best to dispel those rumours, via his Twitter account, the implication that all is not well still simmer sin the Sunday press this morning.

The two tabloids I glanced through as I picked up my papers form the newsagents this morning, are both insisting that all is not 100% between Wayne and Sir Alex following the fine dished out for that after-Christmas night-out.

In fact the inference is there that Manchester City are watching on very closely with it being implied our noisy-neighbours are preparing a huge £60 million bid to take the striker from Old Trafford to the Etihad Stadium, this summer.

Could this be the story to watch this summer or is it all balderdash?

Rooney is a disgrace! Ive just seen the Kompany sending off. Firstly it wasnt serious foul play - he made no contact with the ManU player - It was dangerous play and should have received a booking but Rooneys reaction was an absolute disgrace - Let the referee make his mind up and Rooney mind his own busineess and get on with what he does best which is scoring goals! Thats my opinion and Im a blackpool fan!

I would much rather cut my own genitals off and eat them rather than see this ignorant pig of a semi-sentient shaved-ape granny sh**ging, wife cheating badge-felching greedy scumbag anywhere near my club. Shrek is a Yoonited player through and through, and aptly sums up the crassness and venality that pervades every fibre of your club.
