A bleating band of sky-blue brothers are already harvesting their excuses.
With the titanic third round tie fast approaching, this Sunday, the nation awaits the collision of two of the giants of the modern domestic game, but Roberto Mancini isn`t a happy sky-blue bunny!
According to the yards of column inches adorning our tabloid press this morning the Italian isn`t over his sky-blue moon that the Toure brothers have been denied permission by their international governing body to play this Sunday with it being decreed that the African Cup of Nations takes precedence.
Also, whilst in bleat mode Mancini has gone on to complain that he can`t fill his bench for the tie, despite spending over £330 million of the oil money!
Furthermore, the Italian is of the vision that we`re trailing in his wake and are ripe for killing off with Mancini uttering something about a little more investment will be enough to kill us off for good!
You just keep thinking along those lines Roberto, you might just be in for a nasty surprise!
