Any suggestion that the recent fine dished out to Wayne Rooney coming between the strikers commitment to the side and his ongoing relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson, appear to have been quashed.
It seems that Sir Alex has used his expert managerial skills to smooth the situation over by urging Rooney to get back in the starting eleven and ensure our title challenge gets back on track.
A club insider describing recent events and a possible comparison with the spat last year that saw Wayne want to leave, has commented,
"There is no long-term problem between Wayne and the manager."
"Wayne wants to get on with his season now and doesn`t want to make a big deal of this."
Too right, he was in the wrong, Sir Alex was in the right, so let`s move on!
