Cattle, Just Cattle!
I`ve always bemoaned the fact that away supporters get treated like cattle.
Although getting a ticket for away games can be a lottery these days I`d imagine those going to the FA Cup tie at the Etihad Stadium next weekend can`t wait to get a modicum of revenge for that 6-1 hammering inflicted upon us.
Unfortunately, I`m not one of them, work commitments and a lack of a ticket will mean I`m tuning in from afar.
But it`s interesting to read that following violence between supporters of the two clubs on previous occasions, it has been decreed that the United contingent will be locked inside the stadium for a period of 15 minutes to allow the City fans to exit and disperse.
Now I don`t know if we`re supposed to be outraged by it but, personally, I can`t see the problem after being locked in for far longer on many an away day excursion.
It`s simply a hazard of being an away supporter and being used to being treated like cattle!
