Evra`s Confident But……!

Two 5-0 wins, on the bounce, have banished any fears United are not capable of overhauling City in the title race.

In fact, with Blackburn Rovers next on our fixture list, at Old Trafford, Patrice Evra remains very confident that we`re in this race until the very end, commenting after the Wigan game,

"We have got to keep this momentum going and trust each other because it`s a big squad and everyone wants to show they deserve to play."

"If we win and score goals and keep many clean sheets like we did against Wigan, we`re going to be at the top of the league at the end of the season."

Currently the only dark cloud on the horizon, apart form our inferior goal difference to that of Manchester City, are the amount of injuries we`re collecting, prompting Evra to add,

"It starts to be annoying because this is not the first year we have had so many injuries. I remember playing at the back with Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher two or three years ago because the injuries were so bad."

"So it`s not the first time. I`m lucky - I`m the only one who stays fit. But I`m a little bit worried because we need everyone fit if we want to win the league."

It would help although the churlish amongst us might point out that an early exit from the Europa League might also be beneficial!
