Blades Wizz Kid Chased

Although Manchester United have spent heavily on keepers just recently, with the purchases of Anders Lindegaard and David De Gea costing a pretty penny, the tabloid gossip has us linked with another keeper.

This one looks to be one for the future seeing as he is only eighteen years of age. Seemingly, United are taking a close interest in George Long who is on the books of Sheffield United.

But it looks as if we have competition with both Arsenal and Aston Villa also showing a keen interest.

Considering both De Gea's and Lindegaard;s ability and age it will take a special goalkeeper to make the No 1 jersey their own and any keeper who does join does risk playing 3rd choice for a majority of their career.
