'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Respect for Spurs!

Although we fully expect the likes of City, Arsenal and Chelsea to run us close in the title race this season, Sir Alex has his own thoughts on another real contender.

Sir Alex has revealed a respect for the side from White Hart Lane, commenting in the media,

"Tottenham have been the most impressive team. They were unlucky last Sunday against Stoke but if they win their game in hand they are still in there."

"And for me, Spurs have been playing the best football in the Premier League for the last eight games."

"They look confident and dangerous and I have been impressed with them."

"They have played some terrific football and they must be contenders now they are out of the Europa League - that will definitely help them."

And hinder us I`d like to add!

As a Spurs fan, I've had many dreams of the day we could truly scare the massive names in the game such as SAF. Sadly I think he'll only be truly be worried by us when he starts insulting us lol

Liverpool get a big bail out and more funds for average players from the USA - The russian money buys the PL for the Chelski Chavs - Wenger (although I hate Arsenal) I have to respect for bulding a team within his sensible budgets - now the arab money trumps the russian money for the PL - meanwhile Spurs plod on building a great team and Alex and United go on and on - Despite the debt laiden upon United by the Glazers Sir Alex keeps the engine running. Its going to be an exciting year in the top six!

I like Tottenham, perhaps a feeling that isn't reciprocated by the Spurs fans given some of the things that have happened between our clubs. They've gone about everything and continue to go about everything the right way. They play attractive football and have never sacrificed it for trophies. They're self sustainable and a beacon to other teams that you can break into the big 4 without mega-spending. The only concern I would have over their title efforts is whether it would be sustained, it's the Tottenham way to drop silly points and unless they curb that, which full credit to them they have done so far, then I can see it only being between ourselves and City. Best of luck to them for the season, just not against us and hopefully they give Chelsea a footballing lesson on Thursday :P

If i were a spurs fan I'd be more worried about the outcome of 'arry's court case in january than I would be about dropping silly points.

Spurs fan in peace here - I honestly feel we are not good enough yet to be considered title contenders. I also feel that Chelski, Arsenal and liverpool fall into our category. The title will be decided in manchester. You two are the only two i fear us playing. Chelsea are on a good run but have turned into spurs by throwing away leads and losing silly games and arsenal rely on RVP far too much. Take him out the team and bang goes all your goals. Hopefully we will be in the mix come april.

The mind game master is off and running. Talk em up and hope they choke on it. I suppose we could take it as a compliment that he even feels the need to include us in his jedi mind tricks.

It's nothing so powerful. If we beat Chelsea and win our game in hand... Fergie just seeing it as it is.

LMAOOOOO you guys are really liars !! you're kissing each others asses and then, after a clash between the two clubs (Spuddy n Utd) you start the rant and insults :D LMFAO LOL

We have no chance of winning the league due to the billion invested in Manchester City. Thats really the bottom line. There isnt much in it between Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea & Liverpool at all. Maybe abit of class & experience in a few areas especially in Utds case. But we cant compete with Man City, its just a joke. Im quite sad because weve come of age as a club again and sadly a potentially fine era of CL football & trophy challenges is so much harder for all sides due to the ridiculous investment in City & The Chavs.

Don't want to be rude, but who outside United cares what Ferguson thinks and says, or why? He's the manager of one of the richest clubs in the world who couldn't make it to the knockout stage of the Champions League against Benfica and Basle. I suppose you're all madly hoping that Chelsea do you a favour on Thursday!
Shannon
WELL SAID Shannon... and I said it as a Chelsea fan(probably a neutral at this time)
The Persian
THE persian is one of the guys that over at vc they want to get rid of. he just abuses and stirs up trouble i suggest he is ignored. he knows nothing about football and just supports the first club that looks like it might be succesfull he'll soon be a man city fan. we just cant take your sort serious
jljyid
jljyid - you got me wrong mate, don't know how you are making these things up but........... forget it, I would prefer to take it as a mistake...
