A Warning for Pogba
With a midfield depleted by injuries, there looks to be an excellent opportunity for young Paul Pogba to stake a claim for a starting place.
But, as we`ve reported before, Pogba isn`t too keen to sign a new deal with United`s offer falling short of his expectations, prompting rumours of a move elsewhere, possibly to Manchester City or Milan.
Sir Alex Ferguson, aware of other clubs intentions and the offer of more money, has a stark warning for Pogba, remarking to the media,
"Matt Busby summed it up perfectly, that you don`t need to chase money at a club like Manchester United, it will eventually find you."
"But if he doesn`t want to stay then there`s not a lot you can do about it."
