Macheda Off

The United career of Federicho Macheda looks to be approaching a conclusion.

The young striker who made an immediate impact on his United debut, scoring against Aston Villa, has failed to nail down a regular place in the United starting eleven and is looking to move on to secure some regular first team football.

It is expected that Macheda could leave as early as the January transfer window with his agent, Giovanni Bia, remarking in the tabloid press,

"I spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson and I believe he will go and play elsewhere."

"He needs to play and there is not a place for him at Manchester."

"There are many offers but only from abroad. We will assess them all in the first week of January."

We will try and keep you posted if there are any concrete evidence to support a possible destination.

Best of luck to him, hopefully it's a successful loan spell and he shows the world class potential he use to possess. Regular top flight first team football could be the boost his career needs to finally kick off.
