Gibson Off?

Gibson Off?

It was widely expected that Darren Gibson would depart Old Trafford in the last transfer window.

But that didn`t prove to be the case and the player has made the occasional appearance for United in minor competitions this season.

However, he could soon be about to swap Old Trafford for pastures new with Aston Villa, having lost Jermaine Jenas for the season with an injury, could be looking towards Gibson as a suitable replacement, albeit on loan for the rest of the season.

Having so nearly left what will perhaps be the best team he's ever going to play for during the Summer I would've thought Gibson would've pulled up his socks and make himself counted for. Justify why he's earning the 40k a week Sunderland wouldn't pay. Instead he's just been the usual let down we've come accustomed to. I feared in the Summer that if he left he would become the midfielder his been touted to be now I couldn't care less, let him leave.
