Evra`s Plan!

Patrice Evra, just like some of us, seems to be suffering something of a Champions League hangover.

The Frenchman who, yesterday, described our exit as embarrassing, now seems to be contemplating how to drive those memories of our Champions league demise from his memory and focusing on the road ahead when he`s reported as having commented to the media,

"I`m not happy when we`re second in the league and certainly not happy when we go out of the Champions League."

"I wasn`t happy from the beginning of this Champions League campaign. I`ll be happy the day we are first in the table and let`s see what we can do in the Europa League"

The former might take a few weeks and need a reliance on Chelsea to do us a favour on Monday night, as for the latter, I`m struggling to gather any enthusiasm about that particular competition.

"let`s see what we can do in the Europa League" - It's an improvement on his previous attitude towards it.

I sincerly do hope we dont take this cup seriusly, we should focus on the PL, then the FA, and the Euro league should be left to blood the youngsters and give them valuable experience. Before the "children" from Mercenary City start crying arrogance, United have won so many trophies in the past 2 decades, and you just wont see a club like United, Real, Barca, Milan or Bayern comming out saying, how great for the club it is to win the Euroleague, its not arrogance, its facts, United belong in the CL, as they are one of the biggest clubs in the World, does Real belong in the Euroleague, no - they havent won anything of importance in the past 6 years! This season it wasnt meant to be for United, that doesnt mean we should be going for the Euroleague, I can and will not get exited about it, and honestly dont think that SAF will give this tournament first priority.
