Thursday nights!

The bottom has dropped out of our world and Patrice Evra is one player who is far from happy.

Our French full back just about summed up the feelings of the majority when he remarked following our group stage exit,

"It is embarrassing be in the Europa League."

"But it is not just about this one game, it is about the whole tournament. We threw away a chance to qualify. From the beginning of the season we have not played well in the Champions League. It is a sad day."

"In six years at United I`ve never gone out of the Champions League at the first stage. But now we have to get back and focus on the Premier League, because the target is to win that."

"It feels like a dream. I feel I`ll wake up tomorrow and we will have qualified. But it`s not a dream, it`s the reality and we should have woken up earlier."


Indeed we should, and now we`re left to rue what might have been and dabble in that old friend of the human race - hindsight!

you lot didnt deserve it im affraid..... your performances haven't been the same since the to$$ers in blue done ya over.... at least you lot will take it on the chin and know you didnt deserve it as for the blue side they get everything they deserve as they think they have won everything before they even started.... fergie will get ya to bounce back thats why we hate him so much ;)

Atleast it's a mistake they won't be repeating any time soon if these comments are to be taken seriously that is. Evra can admit we weren't good enough but I would've loved the same "we're in it to win it" attitude all the other players have displayed.
