A Minor Victory

A Minor Victory

After our sad exit from the Champions League last night, one of our players got something of a result this morning.

At his appeal, in Nyon, Wayne Rooney had a degree of success when his appeal against the three game ban imposed after he was sent off against Montenegro, was reduced to a two game ban.

This should, we believe, ensure that Fabio Capello has no qualms about taking Wayne to the Euro 2012 Finals.
