'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rooney Will Not Be Affected

With Wayne Rooney set to lead the attack in Basel tonight, a day before facing the UEFA appeal court in Nyon, Sir Alex Ferguson isn`t particularly bothered about any pressure the hearing may bring to bear on the striker.

Speaking ahead of the game, Sir Alex had this to say,

"It`s a different day, it is a big game, an important game. I don`t think the hearing will come into it at all."

We`d hope not as well.

If we are to join Chelsea and Arsenal in the last sixteen we need everyone to be at the races.

Nope, he wasn't affected at all. He was just ***** as usual.
fifthcolumnblue
P.S. Quite a gut he's got on him nowadays. Was part of his £250k per week contract an agreement that he didn't have to train or something?

Says the guy whos team possesses a player who came back from the Copa America fatter, mugged off his manager, mugged off his fans, mugged off his club leaves and doesn't come back all whilst collecting silly amounts of money, that was part of his contract right?
TheFamousNo7
hong long is it now since he scored??

I hear there's a new fragrance coming from Manchester next year. Channel No 5.
Tottenham Hotcore
TF7, the difference being your lot still idolise the**** that held your club to ransom. Btw T***z will be refunding all that pay he's now receiving when he's eventually moved on.
Bluedub
There's also a massive difference in the fact that Rooney actually plays mate and gives his all for the club everytime he wears the shirt. Once upon a time Tevez was like that and you all idolised him as your talisman el apache.
TheFamousNo7
And when he *****ed us about we told him to stick it, on the other hand you still have your tongues wedged firmly up the 'White Pele's" ( PMSL ) arse.
Bluedub
Gives his all for the (extra large these days) shirt? didn't see too much of that last night TBH. Wonder if the Europa League and lack of January signings will "Match Shrek's ambitions", or was that all just horsesh_it designed to get more cash out of your club?
fifthcolumnblue
You told him to stick it? Only once he went AWOL did you tell him to stick it but before that every transfer window he was pushing for a move disrespecting the club and fans you welcomed him back with open arms blaming Kia for it all saying Tevez was being ill-advised.
TheFamousNo7
Not this fan, not Fifth either and not the majority ofCity fans I know. When that first request went in I wanted him gone.
Bluedub
Oh and btw the City fans that did welcome him back saw the light that night in Munich and not as you suggest when he went AWOL.
Bluedub
Rooney's not fat, he's just festively plump.
