Does It Ease The Pain?

Does It Ease The Pain?

I suppose if you are going to be on the end of something likened to a giant-killing then to lose to such a corking goal does, to a degree, lessen the agony.

The strike from, almost forty-yards out, by Darren Ambrose was such a sublime strike that it had the ex-United player and newly crowned Sky Sports TV pundit, Gary Neville, purring,

"It was one of the best goals I have ever seen at Old Trafford."

We`ll not argue with that and having been beaten and then watched as the draw paired together Palace with another Championship side in the shape of Cardiff City, we`d like to wish Palace all the best and hope they get a long-awaited return to Wembley.

It was a tremendous goal and like I said in the other article, a strike that will cause an upset.

Certainly was one hell of a goal - worthy of winning any game. Did think united would pull it back once they'd got the pen though...
