What is it about South Wales that makes anyone put behind a microphone think they`re a comedian?
The tale of when West Ham United visited Cardiff and the PA announcer politely asked for the away fan responsible for the `horse and cart` in the away car park to kindly remove it has long since passed into football folklore.
So perhaps it was no surprise when the Swansea PA announcer, on Saturday evening, thought he`d have a dabble at being a comedian when he spouted the following,
"I`d like to welcome all those Manchester United fans who have made the long journey down from the Rhondda!"
