Rooney in Euro 2012 Squad

Rooney in Euro 2012 Squad

Although he could miss the group matches all together, courtesy of the red card received against Montenegro, Fabio Capello has now confirmed that Rooney will be part of his squad for the finals.

Speaking to the media, Fabio has remarked,

"It is important that Rooney will be fresh at the end of the season because he will not play in the opening games at the Euros"

"I hope he will be suspended for only two games because the third game could be really, really important. But we will have to see what UEFA decide."

Hopefully, by the time Rooney is available it`ll not be all over for England!
