Nani`s Italian Serenade?

After being at United for the last six years some mischievous hacks are predicting that Nani may be getting the Portuguese equivalent of itchy-feet.

To that effect they are implying that he may well be listening to the overtures form Italy, from Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan with regards to a move to Serie A.

One article goes on to infer that if the Italians pursue Nani then United may well be prepared to sell for a fee of something in the region of £30 million.

They also throw the mischievous suggestion into the hat that Nani, not being amongst the highest earners at Old Trafford, may seek financial recompense via such a move.

We`ll see!

Can't see it happening, especially not at 30 mil.

Not that I'd put any credence in any rumour like this but what do you believe would be a fair price TF7?

Probably nearer the £15m mark I'd say - he can be a decent player when he wants to be, but most of the time he seems to want to be an over-rated show-pony. I bet he really makes taggart tear his hair out! LOL

If Samir Nasri is worth 25 mil when being in the last year of his contract then I can't see how Nani, with what? 3 or 4 years left on his contract and being better than Nasri is only worth 30 mil. Bale who is showing the same inconsistency Nani showed at his age a couple of years ago is getting a valuation of 35-40 mil put on him. Being the best winger in the Premier League and not too far off being the best in the world with only a handful of names being better than him then 30 mil, in todays market, doesn't do him justice. That's not even taking into consideration the fact that we don't need to sell him as our financial situation constantly improving. What I value him at I don't know, but with the figures being thrown around nowadays i'd expect more than 30 mil.

Nasri had a City premium attached. Bale has the British press premium attached, both are inflated valuations. I wouldn't rate Nani as highly as you do, granted on his day he can be top drawer but he's still inconsistent. I've yet to see him play a full good season.
