The Sir Alex Ferguson Stand

A little puzzled?

Watching events unfold at Old Trafford yesterday, and then listening to Sir Alex Ferguson revealing it was a total surprise to find out that the North Stand had been renamed after him, I`m a little puzzled.

They say the Scotsman runs the club with something akin to an iron-fist and knows everything that goes on; therefore surely he`d have seen the shenanigans going on as workmen balanced precariously, on the roof, erecting the new sign?

Nevertheless, it remains a splendid honour and we can`t wait to see the statue that is being erected to compliment the naming of the stand.

When's the Howard Webb stand due to be unveiled?
Bluedub
He was just being modest! Don't make Sir Alex blush on TV...
BlueBanes
Can I suggest you have a statue of taggart pointing to his watch? Think that one might be the most appropriate.

Thanks fcb and bluedub for the most unoriginal and cliche remarks associated with the club and Fergie. Fergie looked truly shocked and whilst he's pretty much involved with everything happening at the club he's not there 24/7, i'm sure the club hierarchy took it all into consideration. How do we follow it up if he hits 30 years though?
TheFamousNo7
Your welcome precious.
Bluedub
Taking fergie-time into account he probably already has 30 years on the clock.

2nd time posting that fcb, didn't it get enough attention the 1st time round? :P
TheFamousNo7
Seeing as there's only you that ever bothers posting on here Famous, I wasn't sure if anyone had actually seen it...
fifthcolumnblue
I saw it, it gave me a chuckle just couldn't be arsed to reply to it to be honest.
