With all the big boys left in the last eight of the Carling Cup, the potential was there for United to draw a cracker of a tie.

But, considering Sir Alex Ferguson tends to use the tournament for utilisation of his fringe and youth players, there`ll be no need for a sleepless night over his team selection as United were awarded a home time against the Championship side, Crystal Palace.

Other ties saw Arsenal draw City, Chelsea draw Liverpool and Cardiff draw Blackburn.

Of course all the big boys are left, and of course you got the weakest team at home. Know what? I predicted you'd get an easy team at home, and once you've dispatched Palace I predict that you'll get the winner of Blackburn/Cardiff at home as well. Perhaps I should get down the bookies eh?

Great draw, a game we should most definately be winning. Looking quite forward to seeing the youngsters and fringe players play again.
