They Want Us?

They Want Us?

We have to wait until Saturday to find out who we play in the Carling Cup quarter-finals.

With Wembley almost within touching distance, it doesn`t take a genius to work out that most United supporters would prefer an easy tie and a possible match-up with either Cardiff City, Crystal Palace or Blackburn Rovers, rather than meet the big-guns of Chelsea, City, Arsenal or Liverpool.

But across the city, in the noisy neighbourhood, Adam Johnson has already decided who he`d like to face in the quarter-final.

Johnson, on the back of one of his sporadic better performances for our noisy-neighbours, has screamed out,

"Bring on Manchester United."

"We can beat anyone when we are in this mood."

"We are a confident team at the moment and are playing well."

If that is the case then so be it, but let`s make it over at their place then revenge will be all the sweeter!

He screamed did he? Was the interviewer hard of hearing or something? I have to say Red Boy that your last line did make me chuckle. How's that sick swan doing btw?

Revenge? PMSL! As Douglas Hurd once said of Geoffrey Howe - "Being attacked by him was like being savaged by a dead sheep". Although I suppose if you could convince the FA to appoint Howard Webb to ref the match you might have a slim chance.
