Beckham Helps van Nistelrooy
Real Madrid and England midfielder David Beckham has admitted he helped Ruud van Nistelrooy to join Real from Manchester United.
Ruud and Beckham were team mates at Man Utd and have now joined up again. Beckham said:
"We spoke often before he moved here. He asked me about the organisation and told him Real Madrid was the best club in the world."
Becks also says "His Spanish is already better than mine! It`s easier for the Dutch. He`s happy, delighted to be part of this group.'
He certainly appears pleased that Ruud has joined up with him saying they had a great understanding at Old Trafford:
'When we played together we only needed to glance at each other for me to find him with the ball. I know he`s going to score many goals for Real and I will supply him.'
