Vidic Quits Serbian Scene!
It is a subject we dabbled on over a week ago after we heard that Nemanja Vidic, following Serbia`s failure to qualify for Euro 2012, was quitting the international scene.
Well yesterday afternoon, Vidic issued a statement to that effect explaining that his international career was at an end.
Strangely enough, amongst the reasons cited was his disappointment over his level of commitment to the national side from both the Serbian media and the Serbian fans!
And there was I thinking it was only us English who treated our heroes so shabbily trying desperately to knock them off their pedestals!
