Rome Wasn`t Built in a Day!

Rome Wasn`t Built in a Day!

As the derby approaches, Sir Alex Ferguson has provided some superb quotes about the differences between us and them.

The quotes, published in the morning press, infer that Sir Alex has no envy of City`s good fortune but questions the longevity of what they have achieved, when he remarks,

"I have no envy of City, not at all. There are probably people who envy us, but we can`t do anything about it can we."

"Money could make it even better for us in some respects, but money isn`t an important issue for us."

"If I`ve needed a player, the Glazers have been great. They`ve always provided the money and they will continue to do so."

"The difference between us and City is that we`ve built up over a long period. There`s a structure here."

"City have done it in a quick spell because when the Abu Dhabi people took over, they were looking for instant results and they`ve got them."

It all adds more fuel to what could be a feisty derby!

Rome wasn not built in a day. But it only took 90 minutes to burn it to the ground.
