Rising to the Challenge!

Tomorrow will see the first clash, this season, of the two Manchester clubs.

For once, City are above United in the table but Sir Alex Ferguson remains unfazed by the challenge.

In fact Sir Alex looks to be relishing the prospect and ahead of what is a much anticipated clash, has spoken about the challenge of keeping United ahead of all others, remarking,

"City are top of the league at the moment and we always accept a challenge at this club."

"It was interesting when Blackburn had that two-year spell when they were second one year and won it the next."

"But we reacted in the right way and it doesn`t do you any harm. Something similar happened with Chelsea but we had that determination to get back in front of them."

"This time it`s City who have gone to the top of the league."

"Its early days of course and there are a lot of winning posts along the way, but one of them is Sunday. It`s a six pointer."

Although it`s early days, you get the feeling that with City ahead of us, we`ve more to lose than them tomorrow!
