Something on His Mind!

Something on His Mind!

As we head towards the crucial Manchester derby this Sunday, Chris Smalling has one eye on getting revenge.

During his Fulham days, Smalling was part of the side that were beaten, in the Europa League Final, by Atletico Madrid.

Playing for Atletico that night was Sergio Aguero, one of the latest big money purchases made by our noisy-neighbours.

During that final, Aguero partnered a player we know well, Diego Forlan, and Chris recalls that night, as thus,

"He was a real handful playing up front with Forlan, he looked very sharp. Even then, he looked like he would go for big money - and that`s what happened."

"Since he arrived, he`s really produced for City, scored some great goals and some very important ones."

"We`ll have to keep an eye on him but, hopefully, it will be me celebrating this time."

"Getting revenge against him would be nice. I`m looking forward to trying."

What better incentive!

Better incentive? Ermmm 3 points for your team, in my opinion that should be a slightly better incentive, no?

Hopefully Smalling will shut him out, he has the ability to.
