The Big Event Draws Nearer!

The Big Event Draws Nearer!

Although there has been the distraction of Champions League football, something has been bugging me all week!

It`s that damn Premier League table!

Now I know it`s a marathon and not a sprint and that we shouldn`t really pay any attention to it until at least the end of November, when it`s suggested it really starts to take shape, but seeing Manchester City perched on top hurts.

Therefore, I`m thankful that we have a glorious chance to end their brief spell at the top this Sunday.

In what could be the most talked about derby game in years, United welcome City to Old Trafford and when pressed on whether he thought it was the most anticipated derby match in years, Sir Alex Ferguson remarked,

"Yes, I think so."

"It has become more intense. With them top and us second, it builds up a fantastic prospect for everyone. I`m looking forward to it."

You, me, the nation and an audience of millions around the globe I`d imagine!
