'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Relegation?

Sir Alex Ferguson hasn`t minced his words when it comes to the proposal, linked to some foreign owners; that would see relegation become a no-no in the Premier League.

The proposal, quite probably coming from those foreign owners that see their clubs flirting with relegation and a possible fall-out of the elite, got the following response from Sir Alex, as he prepared for the Champions League clash in Romania tonight,

"I think that would be absolute suicide for the rest of the league and teams in the Championship where we have at least eight teams with tradition and history at the moment."

"What do you say to those eight teams? That they can never play in the Premier League? You may as well lock the doors."

"The only place you can make money and realize your ambitions is in the Premier League."

"You can`t take that away from Nottingham Forest, Leeds and the Sheffield clubs, great sides which formed the nucleus of our old First Division."

Exactly, so let`s hope this ludicrous idea is shelved and never sees the light of day again!

Can never work, will never be seriously considered, just a pathetic plea from some clubs to ensure their prem safety.
