Cleverley Signs New Deal

Cleverley Signs New Deal

As we suggested in an article published over the weekend, United have taken strides to tie down one of our future stars.

The red-top press are carrying articles indicating that young Tom Cleverley has put pen-to-paper on a new four year deal.

Speaking about the good news, Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly remarked,

"Tom is one of the brightest prospects in the English game with a fine future ahead of him."

"For a young boy he has a good footballing brain which, when coupled with his energy and ability, makes a player with a fine future."

"It`s the United way to encourage our young players to make their mark in the first team and Tom has grabbed his chance."

Let`s hope Tom gets the injury sustained against Bolton Wanderers and gets back to doing what he does best, playing football.

Great news and fully deserved. He's a great young talent who can provide the midfield with the technical ability and good passing it's missed for some time. His got a lot more in store for us and I can't wait to see it.
