'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rooney Rap!

Uttering an expletive, in Italian, as Wayne Rooney trudged off, Fabio Capello has, in the press this morning, suggested that Wayne Rooney may be missing from the England starting eleven between now and the completion of his ban at the Euro 2012 Finals.

It looks very much like Fabio has thrown down the gauntlet to all those challenging for the striking positions and told them to seize the chance and make it impossible for him to drop them, or as Fabio put it,

"I need to find the solution for the first game or two games that Rooney would have played."

"And then if we find a solution he needs to work to return to the first XI."

"In my life as a manager I have put a lot of good players on the bench."

Harsh treatment or fully justified, you decide!

Rooney is the star of England, no he didnt perform at WC but none of the players did.. Rooney is on the best players in the world, and Fabio would be suicidal leaving him out once he has sat out his ban.. Fabio get real, you know you wont leave him on the bench..

just an idol threat the do you reckon?

All bark and no bite. Like nordkap said Rooney is Englands best player by far and realistically how are you going to play ahead of him? Carroll? Zamora? Have a laugh.
