Ferdinands` Long Term Future?
Rio Ferdinands` future has again generated numerous headlines this morning.
With United now having a plethora of class centre backs, there is a degree of uncertainty regarding the future of Rio.
But, Chicago Fire have issued a denial that the rumours linking them with a move for Rio have any truth in them, but that hasn`t stopped other clubs now, reputedly, declaring an interest in the former England skipper.
Qatari sides, Lekhwiya and Al Sadd, are both said to be keen to lure Rio to that part of the world for one huge, last payday.
With Rio`s contract expiring in 2013, it`ll be interesting to see which path his career takes over the next eighteen months or so!
