'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Doughnut II (The Remake)

After the mirth has finally died down about the sticky predicament David de Gea found himself in after the great doughnut mystery, our keeper has told the press exactly what happened.

Speaking to the very tabloids that chastised him, De Gea appears to have been caught up in a maelstrom that really is much ado about nothing with the keeper commenting,

"Nothing really happened. Me, my cousin and a friend from Spain went to the shop, we were hungry and took the doughnuts."

"We were going to buy more things. I realized I didn`t have my wallet so I went out to the car to get it. Nothing more."

"They thought I was leaving without paying so I tried to explain to them but my English is still not very good and we were in there for a while."

"In the end a Spanish girl arrived and we understood each other and in the end they ended up apologizing to us."

"They made a big thing out of nothing but I took the whole thing as something funny."

What was it you said in Doughnut part 1 Red Boy? That Fergie needs to have a word or something to that effect, was it not? I think you need to have a word with yourself mate for running a story based on what you read in the S*n.;)

You could pretty much guess it was a mountain out of a mole hill.

Hmmm. If he hadn't been a well-paid footballer he'd still have ended up with a criminal record for leaving a shop without paying for an item. It's called shoplifting!

What a story, some news, The United keeper "steals" a doughnut or did he, Mercenary Tevez refuses to play for the other Manchester club.. I'll take the doughnut story..
nordkap
Not saying i think he should be prosecuted - just that his status as a well-paid and high profile footballer got him off the hook. If you don't believe me, try eating a doughnut then leaving the store and see how you get on!
