'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fortress Old Trafford

The 2-0 win over Norwich City, whilst being most welcome against a side that troubled us, gave Manchester United a new record.

We`ve now own 19 Premier League matches on the trot and having just dropped the two points to West Bromwich Albion, since last August (2010), teams must dread coming to Old Trafford.

After the match against Norwich, in his post match interview, Sir Alex Ferguson mentioned the record, remarking,

"Our home record has been fantastic over the past TWO seasons; it was only the draw against West Brom last season that spoilt it."

And as for the performance against Norwich, Sir Alex added,

"You couldn`t say this was a fantastic performance today but it was gritty and determined. We never give in, which is a fantastic quality."

"In the second half we improved a good bit but we hardly made any chances."

Quite possibly one of those days when the result meant everything!

Cityman did you also cheer when Tevez signed for *****ty?
nordkap
nordkap answer to your question IS YES, i did cheer as he is still a class player, his advisor leaves a lot to be desired though as that is the main problem... as for what happenened last Tuesday IS UNFORGIVABLE, and could well be his in a City shirt....so did you give the Norwich fans their scarves back then as they dont seem so profound at OT these days, or you lot noow freinds with the glazers?????
cityman51
You speak as if we were part of the protests in the first place cityman. I was never really for nor against them but I can happily tell you the unrest amongst the fans is finally dying off. No surprise really though as some of the fans were jumping on the bandwagon and using their scarve as an extension of how much they loved the club without ever really knowing what the cause was for.
