More Hargreaves Medical Fall-Out!

The revelation from Owen Hargreaves that he was not entirely happy with the treatment he received form the United medical staff whilst he was out injured, certainly drew a swift response form Sir Alex Ferguson.

Sir Alex Ferguson, quite rightly, defended his medical team, commenting at the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Stoke City,

"As far as I`m concerned my medical staff are one of the reasons why Manchester United have been so successful over the last few years."

"There`s no doubt about that. We have fantastic medical staff, great sports science and do you think we would have been successful if we didn`t have an operation that wasn`t 100 per cent and worked absolutely brilliantly?"

"The doctors and sports scientists are fantastic. That`s my opinion and that`s more important than what anyone has got to say about it."

Following Sir Alex`s verbal tirade, the club also issued a statement about the affair, commenting,

"The club gave him the best possible care for three years and is as disappointed as anyone he was not bale to play a part in the teams success at that time."

Has the matter been put to bed?

It remains to be seen!

Make up your mind Red Boy, was Hargreaves wrong or not? That's some God complex Fergie has there. Just wondering Red Boy did you read the initial Guardian interview on this?

We wouldn't spend all the time and money we did on Owen if we weren't giving him the best possible treatment and care - am rather disappointed in him, his claims about being a guinea pig since he left for the blue half of manchester.....

Hargreaves comments have been completely blown out of proportion here. He knows he has been given the best possible treatment possible, if he was given anything other than the best would he be playing now?

I wonder how many ABU fans jump on the bandwagon and slate the Utd medical staff
