'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hernandez Good News

After watching that horrific tackle inflicted on Javier Hernandez, by Ashley Cole, it was feared that the Mexican would be out for a couple of weeks.

Thankfully, despite the horrific tackle, the player`s agent is reporting that Javier will resume training tomorrow (Wednesday) and should be available for consideration for selection for the visit to Stoke City this weekend.

Good news all round!

Great news! It was a horrible challenge by Cole which could've broke his leg and we're lucky he's come out pretty much unscathed. Can't wait to see him and Welbeck back in the side.

It was a late one footed tackle that we see every game and don't have to listen to this kind of overreaction, you don't half like to exaggerate do you!

Ashley Cole hadn't even hit the ground when he lunged in on Hernandez. Then there's also the fact that Ashley Cole's boot was also high up off the ground and hit Hernandez on the mid-shin with some momentum. To me, that's a pretty horiffic challenge. http://www.soccer-blogger.com/2011/09/19/video-ashley-cole-tackle-on-chicharito-javier-hernandez-2011-september/

Fair enough, to me it's a bad tackle that deserves a yellow, we see at least one of these in every game of football. IMO using words like horrific to describe that tackle is yet more evidence that the game is becoming too sanitised.
